In my opinion Swiss Meringue is the best buttercream, it’s silky and smooth, easy to make and beautiful to work with. It’s also not too sweet which is great when paired with other fillings such as caramels or rich ganache. It also is naturally pale in colour so no need to add whitener, but it also takes colour well, so perfect for party cakes where customers want colour. My image contains no whitener and has not been edited to look white.
